Leading the University of Utah

The President is appointed by and serves at the pleasure of the Board of Regents and is responsible to the Board for overall administration of the university. Candidates should demonstrate success in a leadership role at a research university or an institution with very high research activity. Ideal candidates should have a proven record of scholarly achievement in higher education, experience and success in fundraising, and leadership qualities essential for the administration of a large, culturally diverse, and complex academic and research institution. A terminal degree is required.
